2009 Chevrolet Tahoe - 1GNEC23319R- Shiner, TX: August 29th, 2012
Actuator failed on 3 out of five doors, so far. Several forums have a lot of reports of failure. I would appreciate someone looking into this. Today, i am paying out of pocket over $500 to have this fixed at a chevy dealership. You can never be sure a dock is locked or unlock, which poses a safety risk for my child who could open the door while i am going down the road; not to mention the risk of someone entering the car while it is stopped (attended or not).

2012 Chevrolet Impala - 2G1WC5E31C1- Buffalo Gap, TX: August 27th, 2012
Upon arriving at a restaurant location where we planned to dine, my spouse opened the right front passenger door using the inside door handle. While pushing the door open she relaxed her handhold on the handle allowing her right hand pinkie finger to become captured between the retracting handle and the flat area where the handle is attached. It pinched her finger and it immediately formed a blood blister and was very painful. After she explained what happened, i inspected all of the other doors and discovered that it would be possible to replicate her type of injury at any of the inside door handles. I then took a picture of her injury and the problem inside door handle.

2008 Chevrolet Hhr - 3GNDA23D28S- Lufkin, TX: August 24th, 2012
This car is a safety hazard going down road. I bought it new in 2008. Rotors & brakes are horrible - have to have repaired multiple times. Bearings have went out, replaced & one went out again. I spend approx 1200 dollars a year just to get shaking out of front end, turning rotors & tires. But that isn't really the problem i am reporting: was having trouble with ignition switch - it was recalled - took it to dealer to have it replaced - understand that i was having no problems with car at this time - upon leaving dealers and within 15 miles power steering light comes on & i lose power steering. Now my power steering goes out unexpectedly whenever it decides to. Took back to dealer because i felt this was something they messed up and was told this is just a problem with hhrs and that power steering motor needs to be replaced. After researching this... It is very common with this car, along with brake issues, severe shaking in front, bearings going out and many other problems that i have also had. I realize my car is high mileage, i work as a home health nurse & use this car for work, but i do keep it maintained. I hope that i will be able to get into different car before i get in accident in this one.

They finally sent out a 3rd party investigator to investigate the vehicle. They determined that the vehicle had a roll-over event. The vehicle did not roll-over. 2011 Chevrolet Impala - 2G1WG5EK5B1- Corinth, TX: August 21st, 2012
We, like others, didn't realize how tall the three rear headrests were when we purchased our 2011 chevy impala. The center headrest is especially a problem; it creates a blindspot and to me is an accident waiting to happen. Gm really needs to address we owners who are stuck with this; they obviously know there's a problem because they removed that center headrest on the 2012 model. In the meantime, so far, they've ignored their big mess up and do nothing to correct the problem with the 2011 model. If we'd known what an issue this was going to be we would have never bought this car; it's beautiful, but it's also got a serious safety issue. Gm either needs to provide a solution, such as having an upholstery shop remove the center headrest or replace the seat with the new model. Does someone have to die before they'll actually care?????????????
