It keeps the costs lower but sometimes it can be slow especially around the holidays and also to Hawaii and Alaska. and the US Postal Service state that media mail can take from 2 to 9 business days. I have experienced that it can be slower particulary around the holidays. If you need your item faster please email me about other options including priority mail.
